Amanda Schnieders / Director of Content & Communication / Chronus
As Director of Content & Communications at Chronus, Amanda is an advocate for using research and storytelling to showcase how human engagement can change employee productivity, advancement and growth in an organization, elevating the overall employee experience. Prior to Chronus, her work in entrepreneurship and education with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation provided her with insights into the key factors of the workplace today—mentoring, development, inclusion and support. In pursuit of these elements, she helps organizations work smarter to retain their employees, learn from one another and build better pathways forward.
Seena Mortazavi / CEO / Chronus
As Chronus’ CEO, Seena is a passionate executive who leads strategy, oversees business and financial operations, and explores how software can impact the talent development world.
Prior to Chronus, Seena spent most of his career at the intersection of IT and financial services. He worked directly with CEOs and business owners to design, launch, and grow financial products across a network of institutions. His experience ranges from scaling mobile banking services for rural farmers to designing complex financial products for microfinance institutions, and includes managing large-scale projects such as opening new branches and implementing complex IT systems.
Earlier in Seena’s career, he worked with Accenture, a management consulting and technology services company. His role encompassed providing high-level strategic support to management teams and improving general efficiencies through analyzing key performance indicators.
In addition to a BA in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario and an MA from the University of Toronto, Seena completed his MBA From the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sophie Williams / Director of Product Marketing / Chronus
Sophie Williams has been obsessed with providing mentors and mentees the tools they need to build impactful partnerships for over a decade. As the Director of Product Marketing at Chronus, she works with customers and the product team to enable dynamic connections that make a difference in the lives of people everywhere.
Sophie believes in the power of personal and professional development through mentorship. She co-founded eMentorConnect with her own mentor, Nancy Wolk, and grew to see how a mentor can have a profound impact on their partner’s development.
Sophie’s varied educational background has prepared her to work with different teams and customers. While earning a Bachelors of Art in International Relations from Agnes Scott College she worked for a tech startup in Atlanta, GA. Shortly after graduation she co-founded eMentorConnect and started her education in product, pivoting and running a small technology business. In 2022 she completed a MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
