We all want to believe that hard work is enough to propel someone, regardless of their demographics or background, to a successful future. Sadly, that is not the world in which we live. Racism is a systemic issue that permeates every aspect of our culture. Without intentional interventions, inequities will remain. What can we, as a mentoring software company, do that would create real and lasting change? We realized we could do what we’ve always strived to do—support impactful mentoring programs via software and services—but specifically for organizations that are working diligently to seek racial equity and justice.
Mentoring enables people to learn from one another, break down barriers and foster skills and knowledge that can propel individuals to future success.
Each year, Chronus will grant one non-profit—with a mission centered around racial equity for Black, Indigenous and/or other communities of color—a three-year contract for Chronus mentoring software and standard services. This grant program aims to be an ally in the pursuit for racial equity and equality in the world in which we work and live.
The basic, human need to connect has always brought people together, even in times of social and physical distancing. Now more than ever, it’s imperative that organizations work to build systems for connection, kinship and understanding for the people they serve. With the help of mentoring, we believe people can see greater success no matter their challenges or obstacles.
Any US tax-exempt non-profit organization is eligible to enter. Applications will evaluate each organization’s positive impact on the Black community, Indigenous communities and/or other communities of color as well as the organization’s commitment to a mentoring program to positively impact racial equity. For more details, see here.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Limit one entry per Organization. Current Chronus customers are not eligible to apply. Applicants must be legal residents of the 50 U.S. + DC and US territories. Contest ends September 30, 2021.
For Official Rules, see here.
The winning non-profit will receive a three-year contract for Chronus mentoring software and standard customer success services for a mentoring program supporting up to 500 program participants (aka mentors/mentees) concurrently.
In addition, the winning non-profit will receive a one-time cash grant in the amount of $7,500 in order to assist in implementing and facilitating a mentoring program using the Chronus mentoring software.
