Chronus Corporation Updates Chronus Mentor Software with New Participant Engagement Features

New Features Include Mobile Access for More Productive Mentoring

Enable your participant of the mentoring program with our mobile appsBELLEVUE, WA – Chronus Corporation, a leading provider of software for talent and career development, recently released a new update to its software, Chronus Mentor, which helps organizations start, manage, and measure mentoring programs. Chronus added three new features aimed at increasing mentor and mentee engagement: mobile mentoring, informal mentoring, and an email campaign function for administrators.

“We continue to evolve our mentoring software to delight customers and exceed expectations,” explained Kyle Smith, VP of Product Management at Chronus. “Any mentoring program administrator will tell you that keeping mentors and mentees engaged and focused is key to program success. We’re making their job easier with host of new features that increase participation and generate productive learning through mentoring.”

Mobile Mentoring. Chronus Mentor now increases participant engagement in mentoring programs by giving participants anytime, anywhere access on any smartphone. Program participants can find and connect with compatible matches, view engagements, complete tasks and communicate on-the-go, making mentoring more productive whether at the office, at school, or even at the local coffee shop

Chronus customers, including Medline, a leading supplier of medical supplies and clinical solutions, have welcomed the mobile access. “Our program involves field training, and with our trainers and trainees always on the go, we anticipate this new mobile access will be well received. We’re excited to add it to our program,” said Daniel Plyman, Training and Development Manager of Medline.

Informal Mentoring. The new update of Chronus Mentor includes support for informal mentoring in which mentees set up one-time mentoring sessions for specific, shorter term goals in addition to a regular, longer-term mentoring program. Administrators have the option of choosing one or both modes within the same mentoring program, and mentors can also be given the option of which mentoring modes work best for them. For both mentoring modes, key program metrics are available for easy monitoring and measuring.

Campaign Management. This powerful new communication tool increases engagement through automated emails while reducing administrator time and effort. Administrators can now create campaigns that are triggered by user action to achieve key program goals, such as increasing mentor recruitment. All emails provide metrics to measure and optimize results.

All new features are available immediately and included free of charge with any edition of Chronus Mentor.
